Michael James Courtney

Michael James Courtney, from North Richland Hills, Texas, went to be with the Lord on March 3, 2024 at the age of 73. Mike was born on July 16, 1950 in Fort Worth, Texas and was the youngest of three boys.

He graduated from Trimble Tech high school in 1968. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Navy and fought in the Vietnam war on the USS Midway. After honorable discharge, he came home to attend college where he met and married his loving wife of 46 years, Barbara, on August 6, 1976. He worked in the AC and heating industry for 44 years, until he retired in 2022. He enjoyed photography, traveling with his wife, and spending time with family and friends.

He is proceeded death by his beloved wife, Barbara Ann; brother Ronnie; and his parents.

He leaves behind two sons Nicholas Courtney and Ryan(Anna) Courtney; 3 granddaughters Bishop, Marleigh, and Charleigh; and brother Captain Jack.

The family deeply appreciates your support during this difficult time. And may we all find comfort in knowing he was reunited with his cherished wife Barbara, and they are both walking with God in peace
