Obituary for Erinn Dickson

Erinn Dickson
In Loving Memory of Erinn Dickson

Erinn Dickson (Mersch) passed away peacefully on February 27, 2017. Erinn is survived by her loving husband Robert Dickson and 3 dear children; mother, Tina Mersch; sisters, Ashlee Zipp and Teddy Harper; parents-in-law, Bob and Lourene Dickson; sister-in-law, Debra Dickson; and her 2 adorable dogs, Jewel and Jax. She is preceded in passing by her father, Grayson Mersch.

Erinn was born on January 6, 1971 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Grayson and Tina Mersch. She graduated from Southern Methodist University with dual Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Dance. She married the love of her life, Robert Dickson, in 1995 and they worked together creating a beautifully full life in the Dallas area and exploring the world. She initially pursued a career in Sales, then found her passion in Human Resources, given her natural gifts in communicating with and relating to people. Erinn was a loving, devoted wife and mother of 3 children - ages 15, 14, and 11. Erinn and Robert adopted these sweet children in 2010. Erinn showered her children with protective love and made their happiness, health, and development her primary focus. Married for over 21 years, Robert is eternally grateful to have had Erinn as his wife and to have experienced her unconditional love throughout their entire marriage. Her children best remember being embraced in her caring arms.

Erinn continues to be a bright light of love, joy, strength, beauty, grace, humor, creativity, humility, and generosity. Quick with a loving smile and hug, she touched so many lives and continues to be an inspiration to all her friends and family. She was a trusted friend who so willingly and lovingly provided guidance, advice, and prayerful, uplifting support. Everyone who knew Erinn, recognized her strong devotion to God and dedication to spiritual growth. She was raised in Christian Science churches and loved attending Sunday church services and reading the Christian Science Weekly Bible Lesson every day. She put her study and practice of Christian Science at the forefront of her life. She spoke with such dedication, fortitude, and love for God on a daily basis. She inspired so many other family members and friends to rely upon God as well.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fifth Church of Christ, Scientist, 5655 West Northwest Highway, Dallas, Texas 75220. The family would like to thank everyone who has cared for, prayed for and supported Erinn and the family during this difficult time.
